Even though I haven't been blogging, I still have a ton of stories and news to link to. I will dump it all onto the blog Sunday afternoon. In the meantime, I'm going bird hunting in Scurry County and I'll see you all when I get back.

Yes, I know I haven't blogged in nearly a week. Unfortunately, things are going to slow down permanently because my company recently introduced a more stringent computer use policy last week that most likely, should I continue to blog in my spare time at work, could be construed as reason to terminate my employment. As such, no more blogging at work, even though I feel that the brief time that I spent posting each day is no more significant than the time other employees spend on cigarette breaks, long lunches, shooting the breeze in other people's offices, and/or on personal phone calls. And I like my job and I think I have quite a future, so I'm not going to give anyone a reason to fire me, no matter how dumb it may be.

As my "essay of the day" idea flamed out almost immediately, I am reluctant to say that I am going to become a regular poster each night - after all, I started the blog because I was bored sometimes at work when I had nothing to do. Of course, I am busier now, and you can all vouch that my time spent blogging each day since I started this thing has decreased accordingly, but I still had 10-15 minutes free each day to post. No more.

Anyway, I likely will be posting items most nights and weekends, and it will likely be somewhat more substantive now that I'll have dedicated free time at home, but it won't be anything like my up to now regular workday schedule.

So.

Thanks for reading and keep coming back when you remember to. It's been fun.
